Playing with new people
Good shot taps, your own comfort level, new-to-golf play and a private rematch.
Good shot
Once someone has a score on a hole, tap Good shot under their name. It’s one tap from you to them on that hole, and tapping again takes it back. The hole wrap shows who got one, and everyone sees their total at the end.
Your cards, your comfort
Pick Chill, Spicy or Unhinged for your own cards when you join a round, or any time in Me. You’re never dealt a card wilder than your level, whatever the group’s Chaos Dial, and your level isn’t shown to anyone. You can still pass on any card.
New to golf
- Tick I’m new to golf when you join, or turn on New to golf in Me. The organiser can also mark a player in the lobby.
- With no handicap yet, a new golfer plays off 36, so the strokes are fair from the first hole.
- Pick up at double par switches on by itself when someone new to golf is playing: no hole counts for more than twice its par, which keeps the pace up. An organiser can also turn it on for any round.
Rematch
At the end of a round, tick who you’d play with again. Your picks are private. Only when two people pick each other does it show, to both of them, with a button to book the rematch. A one-way pick never shows, so nobody is left out.
