The Ryder Cup
Team match play over singles, four-ball and foursomes, with a running cup score.
- Open the Ryder Cup tile.
- Open each day and choose its session: Singles, 4-ball or 4somes, and 1 or 2 points a match.
- Before the day, each captain sets their playing order in the Captains’ Room.
- Tap Reveal pairings once both orders are in. Then tee off that day from the Trip Page.
How matches work
- Singles: one against one, net. First on each team plays first on the other.
- Four-ball: pairs each play their own ball, and the better net score counts.
- Foursomes: pairs share a ball and take turns. Enter the pair’s score for both players.
- Each hole goes to the lower net score. Level holes are halved.
- A win is worth the session’s points, and a halved match gives each side half.
The board shows every match live, like “2 up thru 12” or “3&2”. The cup needs half the points on offer plus a half point to win outright.
