How to play Bingo Bango Bongo
Three points on every hole, earned by being first on, closest and first in.
How it works
Each hole has three points available:
- Bingo: the first player to get their ball on the green.
- Bango: the player closest to the hole once every ball is on the green.
- Bongo: the first player to hole out.
Order of play
Play in proper order: whoever is furthest from the hole plays first. Scores don’t matter, so higher and lower handicaps can all win points. It works for two to four players, and the highest total wins.
Tips
- Going for the green first can win a Bingo, but if you miss, a smart lay-up might still earn the Bango.
- Agree the order-of-play rule firmly, because the whole game depends on it.
- Groups vary the rules, so agree the details on the first tee.
